What If Your Own House Becomes Your Personal Coach?

Your House becomes your Personal Trainer.

Nowhere to Run, Nowhere to Hide, and the only place to go becomes the Gym.

What do you do?

‘If these walls could talk’ is about to have a whole different meaning.

Imagine yourself, deciding to skip the gym today even when you don't really have a reason to

(something we all have done), peacefully lying down on the couch, confidently texting your gym buddy

‘I'm feeling kinda sick today bro, i'll be there next time”.

Perfect, you've ninja-ed your way out of the gym, maybe it's time to sleep-

“What do you think you’re doing?” says your Couch.

“Why is my Couch talking?”, you think, while your Couch thinks you are a lazy slacker skipping the gym

for no reason, which it is right about.

“Go grab the dumbbells rotting away in the corner before I do something I'll regret”

warns your Coach- I mean Couch, well, what's the difference anymore.

If your furniture, your walls and your ceiling suddenly started taking interest in your lack of commitment

towards your goals, you would end up looking like a completely different human being in a much shorter

time. Just imagine if the fridge you open to grab a cold soda, locks its door, not letting you open it and

betray your diet.

The point I’m trying to make is, if you really did stick to your routine, if you had no days off except for

recovering your muscles, you would definitely reach your goals quicker. Now who could make sure you stay

consistent and don’t make excuses, well what better than your own house becoming your personal coach!

You silenced the alarm for your morning gym session, but can you silence your house? Your walls would

scream your ears off ordering you to wake up, get ready and leave, acting like a Drill Sergeant under your

own roof.

A situation like this should make you think, why put yourself in a position where you need someone else

to hold you accountable, be that the own walls of your house? I'm sure even if your house could talk,

it would probably not have to shout at you if you just did what you needed to for the day. After all, it

wants the best for you, just like a good coach. Strict but Sincere.

To end this imaginative session, we need to understand that having a good workout doesn’t matter if

it's just twice a week. Consistency in your fitness isn’t just amazing for your physical health, but is

also beneficial mentally and improves your daily habits. That feeling of laziness might decrease, the

wave of tiredness could go away and you would feel more energised, committed and stronger when

you make it a habit to test your body, enough to make it change.

So don’t bring yourself to a point where you might need your own house to scold you and lock in!

Make yourself proud and stay true to your goals.
